Ultimately, there’s no right or wrong way to wear or use crystals. However there are certain things you can do which can prolong the look and energy of the piece. Below are some tips for usage and care that can help you get the most out of your pieces:

- Bracelet wear: For healing energy, wear your bracelet on your left hand. For releasing energy or sharing with others, wear it on your right hand.
- Care: For optimal maintenance, Keep your jewellery away from water and remove it before exercising. Although it is possible to wear your jewellery in the shower, just be aware that overtime, like all loved pieces, it will begin to tarnish. Additionally, know that some crystals may fade over time if exposed to excessive direct sunlight over time - Quartz is an example of this.
- Using crystals: Place them in your bedroom, study, or any space where you want to invite their energy. You can also set an intention and hold the crystal during meditation.
- Cleaning jewellery: Gently rinse your jewellery under cold running water, and only use soap if absolutely necessary. For cleaning crystals, dust them with a soft duster or wipe them with a damp cloth. Be cautious with crystals that end in 'ite' such as Selenite and Fluorite, as they don’t fare well with water (They won't break down immediately, but after over-exposure to water it will begin to loose its integrity and may crack).
- Energetic cleansing: It’s a good idea to regularly cleanse your jewellery and crystals energetically. There are various methods, and each crystal may prefer one method over the other. Some simple suggestions are - bask in moonlight, or cleanse in cold running water.
